Folc’s bright, sun-drenched summer visuals had started to lose their impact as the seasons changed. Without time or budget for a fresh shoot—and with Christmas campaigns on the horizon—they needed an authentic autumn vibe using only their existing content.

The challenge

Folc already had a stunning Summer campaign featuring bright, sun-drenched visuals, airy soundscapes, and distinctly seasonal elements (think rolling meadows, summer dresses and short-sleeved shirts, and golden-hour lighting). This content had run all Summer but the engagement was beginning to become stale. As autumn approached, they needed fresh content that aligned with the season’s mood without the time or budget for a full reshoot (as they were also planning on investing in Christmas simultaneously).

Our approach

Rather than starting from scratch, we strategically transformed their existing content using three key techniques:

Colour Grading for an Autumnal Palette

We adjusted tones to introduce richer, warmer hues—deep oranges, burnt sienna, and golden browns—to evoke the feeling of crisp autumn air.
Cooler summer blues were softened, replaced with more muted, earthy tones to seamlessly transition the season’s vibe.Subtle animation of key elements—such as twinkling lights, scandle flames, and shallow depth of field added a high end finish without needing new footage.

Expressive Audio Design

We replaced light, airy summer soundscapes with crunching leaves, a crackling fire, and mellow acoustic textures to enhance the autumn atmosphere.
Layering in subtle ambient sound cues helped shift the emotional tone without changing the core messaging.

Smart Cropping & Image Adjustments

Summer-specific elements like sunny skies, picnic baskets and shorts were subtly cropped out or reframed to focus on more neutral or season-agnostic elements.
We leaned into close-up shots, text overlays, and blurred backgrounds to remove summer giveaways while keeping the content engaging.

A seamless seasonal transition without the need for additional shoots.

A consistent brand aesthetic, maintaining the original campaign’s essence while aligning with autumn trends.

Increased engagement, as audiences connected with visuals that felt timely and relevant to the season.
